To ensure efficiency and transparency, we apply a one-hour travel fee to each move. This fee accounts for the moving crew’s time and fuel required to travel to the pickup location, as well as the return trip to our office from the client’s drop-off destination after the move is complete.
Comprehensive and Inclusive Rates
Our pricing structure is all-inclusive, covering the following:
Necessary insurance for peace of mind

Disassembly and reassembly of furniture
Individual quilt wrapping for all furnishings
Protective measures for hardwood floors to prevent damage
Minimum Service Time
We require a two-hour minimum service time in addition to the one-hour travel fee. This ensures a total minimum of three hours for every moving job.
Hourly Rate Policy
The hourly rates begin when our crew arrives at the client’s pickup location and continue until the move is completed at the client’s new home. This includes the time spent driving between the two residences.
Seasonal Rate Adjustments
Please note that our rates are subject to adjustments based on seasonal demand. Rates may increase during peak seasons and decrease during non-peak times.

How do I know if my move is considered local? What is your service area?
A local move is typically one that occurs when moving between two locations within 50 miles or less. Dodge serves St. Louis, St. Charles, and Jefferson counties in Missouri, as well as St. Clair, Monroe, Madison, and Clinton counties in Illinois.
How do you determine cost?
The cost of local moves depends on the number of movers and trucks required, the estimated duration of the move, and any additional services, such as packing, unpacking, or debris removal.
What kinds of packing services/materials do you offer?
We provide both full and partial packing options, which can be tailored to your needs during your survey with one of our estimators. Our full packing service is a bit more expensive but takes the stress off your shoulders by handling all the packing for you. If you’d rather pack certain items yourself, our partial packing option might be the perfect fit.
Do you require a deposit? When do I pay?
No deposit is needed. Payment must be confirmed no later than the day before the move. Any additional charges for extra services or time will be invoiced after the move is completed. Likewise, any refunds due will be processed after the move is finalized.
How will you protect my home at origin & destination?
Our crews take every precaution to protect your home by using a combination of cardboard, plastic runners, and carpet shields to safeguard floors, walls, and stairs. Additionally, we use moving blankets to shield doors and banisters.
What time will the packers/driver arrive on move dates?
Your move coordinator will provide a two-hour time window the afternoon before services are scheduled to begin. This allows you to plan accordingly and ensures that you have a clear understanding of when the moving team will arrive.
