Let me start by saying that I have used Dodge a total of 5 times since 11/2017. I used them as I had had great service previously. This last move was quite the opposite of good. Please note that the people I dealt with … More in the office were all new/different on the last move. They had moved my stuff out of their warehouse into a storage unit in April 2023. I then had them move it into a new home in May of 2023. The new person, Matt Crites, severely underbid so I ended up with a very large additional bill after the move. Remember, they had just moved the items, so knew exactly how much was there. This was a bait and switch for sure. Then, he sent only two men, which was not enough for the size of my furniture. Four men had moved it the last two times. They were not able to deliver one of the items because they needed an additional person, and left it in the garage. All Matt did was call afterwards and state "it was on him" and he "was sorry". No offer of assistance to finish the move or any type of help. There are many options for moving companies, and this should not be one of them. AVOID AT ALL COST!!!During 20-years of military moves, we’ve had considerable experience with the moving process and various companies. Dodge Moving & Storage is the only bad experience we’ve ever had.It began with the … More packers. With a three-day window to pack and a planned team of 4-6 personnel per day, instead only two packers showed, working 3-4 hours a day during the 3-day window. At the end of the packing window, only 2/3 of our household items were ready for the movers on the scheduled moving day.During multiple calls to the Dodge Moving & Storage call center, instead of a professional customer service response showing concern and a genuine effort to facilitate missing packing equipment and desire to support the transitional process between the packers and movers, instead a blatant laissez faire attitude was exhibited with zero follow through.Come moving day, the moving team arrived to a house that was only 2/3 of the way packed. They were frustrated and took their frustration out on our household goods by not wrapping and properly packing, and instead throwing one-of-a-kind or custom items randomly in boxes and on the truck. Even the properly identified high-value items were neglected and ended up receiving extensive damage. Additionally, in the movers haste and anger, they packed the lightest boxes on the bottom while placing the heaviest on top for the multiple day transport. When our household goods were finally off-loaded at the final destination, boxes were crushed flat, furniture was damaged and broken, framed artwork damaged, TV and appliances were destroyed.During 20-years and many moves, only one other move resulted in any damaged goods, in the quantity of two items, total. Additionally, that company offered a fair compensation for the repair. Thinking that Mayflower would offer fair compensation based upon the extensive claim and substantiating information regarding the damage and destruction of our goods, consisting of a total of 25-items, instead the offered settlement was pennies on the dollar for the cost of what was destroyed and damaged. In short, we have to live with the disrespect to our belongings and pay out of pocket for repairs and replacement, thanks to the unprofessionalism of the Dodge Moving & Storage and Mayflower.AVOID AT ALL COST!!!

Worst moving company that I have ever dealt with. Moved home to storage and apartment then from storage to new home and from apartment to new home. Delivered some items in first move then was told they could not move items … More in the 2nd move. The disregard with which our furniture and other possessions were treated was not any where near the other moving companies I have used in the past. Use both union and non-union personal on all moves. Unexperienced movers were very evident.
