Watch out for this company because they purposely under quote their estimates and then hit you with additional fees that are half of the originally quoted price. Prior to being quoted, you will do a video call walk through … More in order to generate the quote. The day of our move, however, the movers showed up and started complaining that there should have been two additional movers on the job. After the walk through, the person scheduling and quoting determined how many people would be needed, I did not determine this number. The movers we had were incredibly slow and unorganized. Our furniture was tossed onto the front lawn for multiple hours while they did various other things. The lead or supervisor disappeared for several hours halfway through emptying the house leaving just two movers. Several hours into the move, they determined another truck was going to be needed. When they finally brought the items to the next house, which was 3 hours past the estimated time of completion, things were still incredibly messy. I directed them where every item needed to go, however, at the end I had to go through each room to have them take things to the correct room. All furniture and boxes were haphazardly thrown into the rooms so that we couldn’t even walk into them without stacking and organizing to be able to enter.This was our first time using movers and we only did it because I’m pregnant. The overall experience was awful. Not only did they charge 50% more than I was quoted, they requested approval to process the overage payment, I refused and they still processed it without my consent. They also estimated the time to be nearly half of what it actually took. This meant my house was an absolute disaster and I wasted a day off of work because I wasn’t able to unpack anything since all of the boxes were at the very back of the truck. Multiple items were broken and the mess that was left was not worth the time or money wasted. We will never again use a moving company if they’re all like this.Side note: A family member referred us to this company, but we recently found out they encountered the exact same issues with being charged an additional 50%, being told another truck and more movers were needed halfway through, and grossly underestimating the time needed to complete the move. They are just as unhappy with the service unfortunately.
